All Faiths are Important

I’ve always been in the feeling that it’s important to believe in a Supreme Being.  That I was created and put on this earth by a Supreme Being. I believe the miracles recorded in the Bible, like Jesus having raised Lazarus from the dead. How Jesus fed all the people with a couple fishes.  If you think about what we are made up of.  We are made up of twos.  Two feet, two legs, two arms, two hands, two eyes, two ears.  And your body can heal itself.  You have a brain so you can learn whatever the job might be.  He’s given us so much, if we use them correctly.

Growing up, my family was always involved in music and many had beautiful voices.  I was a child soprano.  Over the years we’ve always been involved with music.  My oldest brother was the choir director for the Air Force Academy for about 20 years.  We would gather around the piano singing and listening to some of the music of the day.  I like hymns that inspire me like the National Anthem and God Bless America.  Songs that let you know you are proud of being a member of this nation.

At one time in our lives, we served at the temple, once a month, on Saturdays.  It was great working with so many different types of people.  When I worked at the veil there were a lot of times people were speaking to me in a different language but I knew what they wanted.  They knew what they wanted and I knew what they wanted.  It was quite an experience.

I believe we have to live as well as we can.  We have the right to forgiveness, if we would ask Him.  And I believe in prayer.
