My Battle Call

As I have been out for 11 days I can say that I know God's hand is in my life and in the life of others. I have seen God touch the hearts of those that I have served, and those (for the most part) I taught.

As I continue on through serving others and the Lord I will strive to do my best, and keep my purpose as my battle call.

I would like to share a scripture with everyone, Helaman 5:12, "And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless woe, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall." I love this verse because it is always applicable to our lives.

So as I strive to be the best that I can be to serve others I am sending out a call to all those who are on the fence about going on a mission saying, DO IT! You won’t regret it. Just keep on pushing forward and let the Lord guide you.
