“Brother Brock was first called as a temple worker when the Boston Temple opened in 2000 and has remained a worker. It is one of his favorite places to be and his calling in the Hartford Temple Presidency is a blessing. He grew up in Ohio where his parents converted to the church when he was two years old, later moving to NJ. He is an identical twin and has 9 siblings. He met Sister Brock in NJ and they were married in 1979. They have one beautiful daughter who lives in Austin, Texas. He spent his working career in the wholesale food industry and retired two years ago. Brother Brock has had many callings on the ward and stake level, his last calling serving on the Stake High Council. The Brock’s are members of the Canton Ward and live in New Hartford, CT with their two little dogs, Lucy and Annabelle. Sister Brock converted to the church when she was 28 years old, each year strengthening her testimony. Brother Brock, Sister Brock and their daughter were all sealed in the Washington Temple in 1987. It was a very special moment in their lives. Once the temple reopens, Sister Brock will be sealed to her mother and father. She has also held many callings in the ward and stake with her most recent calling as Primary President. She has worked in the temple over the last five years. Her employment has been as an accounting manager, and she is planning on retiring at the end of December to enjoy her time serving as an Assistant to the Matron.”
